More 1st Gen Camaro projects pics
Hey guys,
Alot of you seem to like Project Darkness, so I'll post up some pics of a couple other Camaros we've built recently.
1st Camaro was a 67 vert that came to us in two pieces! We set it up on a stand and took ALOT of measurements and braced the two pieces exactly where they should have been.
Basically every piece of sheetmetal was brand new, new floor pans, new vert rockers (which are HEAVY!), new firewall, new trunk pan ect ect
The customer bought an Art Morrison front clip for the LS1/T56 drivetrain. It uses all Corvette suspention. Very Nice piece.
We custom built the enitre rear end of the car to make the C5 Corvette IRS work.
A TON of work and time was put into this project. The customer then took the car to finish the body work and other mechanical parts himself.

The other Camaro that we built was another vert. This one a 69 and a more complete build.
I dont have any pics of the start of the project....mostly because I suck.
But heres some pics of the finished product.
Basically waaay too many mods to list them all, but heres a general overveiw
LQ9 block L92 ported heads
Cam
Howell standalone
T56 trans
True dual custom exhaust and headers fully Ceramic coated
Makes 550 Flywheel HP
Ford 9" rear end
Triangulated 4 link rear suspention
QA1 coilovers all around
Willwood 4 piston calipers all around
Custom built/removable front engine cradle, all tubular.
The car started out as a rotted out shell, almost as complete as the 67 vert above. So it has all new sheet metal throughout.
