Default What Would a 2002 Firehawk Be Worth Today?

Hey,

I was wondering what a 2002 Formula Firehawk would be worth in today's market. I'll give some details, it's black with the rare taupe interior, 34,000km's, Canadian 'Mapleleaf' car, C#008 (number 8 in Canada) only 2nd owner, 6spd man, t-tops, 12 disk changer, Monsoon sound, all original, SLP Loudmouth 2 exhaust, SLP Smooth Bellows, otherwise all stock. It has just under $9000 worth of SLP upgrades from the factory including Bilstien suspension, Auburn rear diff, 17" chrome Firehawk wheel, and so forth. I have with the car all the service records from the dealer, the birth certificate and the SLP build sheet. It's a spotless car. I'm not looking to sell just yet, if I even decide too. I was wondering what the going rate would be come, say April-ish to sell. I'm looking into buying a G8. Thanks!

Thanks for the post! I bought it from a gentleman who worked at Hogan's Chevrolet, thus all the service records are from that dealer. I've only got these three for now, until the winter get's out of here! I'm not to sure what to ask. Again, I'm still on the fence about selling. I don't really want to give the car away either, but at the same time have to be realistic about the value. I've seen guys with WS6's and SS's asking anywhere from mid-teens all the way to high twenties. I'm not to sure really.....

What SLP options does it have? Pics of the interior?

The G8 would be a better year round vehicle. I just read your post about winter driving the Firehawk. That makes me cringe :o

Default 2002 Firehawk worth?

I sold a 2000 Pontiac Trans Am Firehawk with chrome wheels Bilstein suspension and 7800 miles in the very high 20s last June. When I was looking around I found a 2001 Trans Am Firehawk with 20,000 kms and some mods to it and he could only get around 20k for it.
There is a dealer in St Thomas Ontario trying to sell a 2002 Trans Am Firehawk convertiable for $34,000. It is black too.
Adverise it well and you should get good results
Top enf WS6 and FireHawks should be at least in the mid 20s.
Value not effected my the latest market as lotts of people can afford this price it just depends preference.
I have owned two of them and got my money back or more. Very nice car

Netto, thank you for posting! If I decide to sell her, would you say $25,900 or best offer is fair? Of course, I'd take lower than that! Or it that too much?

When I bought my 2000 WS6, I paid a good dollar for it to get exactly what I wanted. It was extremely clean, it only saw rain once when I owned it... Keep this car clean, and someone will pay a good dollar for it, especially considering what it is, and its options. I would seriously be interested, but I would have to eliminate 2 of my 3 cars, and im not ready to do that yet. This would be a good match for my black hardtop 6spd Formula WS6

Default 2002 FireHawk

I am thinking you are in the right area for that price. But it should be a car that shows no bad weather driving. No rust on the rotors and clean under neath. and the front should not have any or no bug chips etc. Service record is important too. Good luck you get the right price for it, these are classy eye catching cars and every bit as quick as the new Camaro or Challenger

Thanks for the feedback guys! I'll be happy if I can get $22,000 for it. The way the car market is though, it's going to be tough. I guess it has to be a specific buyer who wants a rare Firehawk.

Default 2002 FireHawk

If you are selling it for $22,000. and there is one in the Auto trader at a dealer in StThomas (near London) asking $34,000 It is a convertable whoopy.
Just cannot see the difference. ether he has to come down or you can ask more, How long have you owned this car yourself? May have some one interested.

^Thanks Netto

I've owned the car for about 3 1/2 months....not to long, eh? I'm selling it though for a new G8 or LS6/2 CTS-V. Something with a little more room. If I decide too sell (which won't be till the end of March if I decide? I was going to advertise it for $26,900 and put in 'or best offer'. I would say the lowest would be $22K for me.

Yeah I saw that one too, it makes me wonder though? It probably has severely corroded hawk rims, and a bunch of paint chips and stuff-who knows? I would say don't take lower than $22,000, especially in the spring! I couldn't even bring myself to sell mine even if offered $30,000 for it. Just really love it and probably will keep it until it croaks years down the road. At about 90,000 kms on it now, lots to go.
