After this is all done, Im going to enjoy it for the summer. Next winter, beefing up the rear end and adding 4.10's. Ls7 Clutch, and maybe New heads/Intake. But right now itll make a very fun street car that sounds/looks badass.

Hey man! Nice car. I've seen that one before. I'm SlowLS1 from KWMuscle.
Watch out for the spring choice dude. Honestly, don't run the LS6 spring at it's max if you want the car to be safe and not go boom. For $260 you can get a set of dual springs that will easily handle .650 lift. That's what I've got. Valvetrain isn't worth taking the chance.

Did Shifter today, god damn cold out!
Step 1 : Wake the car up from a deep sleep :
Step 2 : Locate Ugly/Mushy Stock Shifter :
Step 3 : Remove Plastic Boot/Shift ****. Be carefull not to break the plastic frame on the boot when removing :
Step 4 : Pry up on the "Pawl" for the ebrake up off the cam, and pull ebrake up 90* :
Step 5 : Remove upper console :
Step 6 : Remove the lower main console :
Step 7 : Remove the rubber shift cover :
Step 8 : Remove the shifter itself :
Step 9 : Apply RTV sealant and reseal new shifter onto transmission :
And done, roads are wet so didn't drive it anywhere, but shifter feels so tight and its shorter and much more positive, and looks so much nicer :

Apeman: That was quite a gamble removing a console in -5* temp. Interior plastic is as brittle as a candy cane when it's cold.
Hope it all went together well. You will enjoy the steel shifter much better than the rubber one.
Merry Christmas.

Not doing cam anymore. Buddy that was going to do it doesnt have proper spring removing tool, and itd be rushed in 2 days, I really dont want stuff to be rushed inside the engine heh.
So we are doing Headers/Y/Catback and Sportlines.
Im also thinking with amount of KM on it, maybe itd be better as a bolt-on car, save the clutch/10bolt too
