Just chillin out in Regina..literally ,was in the negative 40s today with windchill then supposed to go up to near zero in couple of days.Talk about weather extremes!

My 408 went south on me around about october cutting my season short last year. But was originally planning to go to 427 so this time around doing that. ERL 427 is on order full meal deal with best parts. Will be getting the bigger turbos installed and hoping for good year this year. Hoping to finally dyno and track or at least run incar timer in my car. I got a 12.28 at 125mph out of it with incar timer and extra 300 plus pounds on it just on street with a 2.8 60ft spinning the toyo drag radials no matter what I tried thru all of first,second..LOL On 7.5psi of boost on the small standard aps turbos.

This year have the 427 and the much bigger turbos and will be turning up the boost. Hoping to see a 9.xx for sure like Tomz28 gets in forced induction section with his 370 ls2 and the same turbos. Have spray but would only use small shots 75 to 100 range.

Also been buiding my 91 auto turbo talon and hoping to run that at track this year. That one is track only car but only want to go 10s with it.Too much trouble going under that except at outlaw tracks could maybe go faster.

99TT is just street car ,make a few track runs and retire it from track.
And have a dead in garage 97 talon thats all modded to the moon that want to get back up and about.
And maybe getting a c6 auto or c6 z06 this year but that one will be left very near stock. My modding days are pretty much over. But will for sure be keeping the 99TT and the 91 race talon for long time. Unless track closes where i am planning to move. Race car can't be streeted.

I'm in between you two in Stittsville. My car hits the road year round. Sadly, my wife it drives it 10x as much as I do!

Harry is in Almonte, but he usually hides out for the winter too.

Do you guys do any shows/events during the summer around the area. I will be going to Carlisle, PA this year for the GM nationals (even though the Camaro Nationals are somewhere else on the same date). Went with some guys from Camaro5 last year, before I had the car.

I will try to do a track day or two at Calabogie, never been before but I've heard good things about the track, and possibly make it to Cayuga too. There is also a new drag strip somewhere north of Ottawa (wayyyy north, like 4 hours!) that I'll end up going to this year, got some friends from around there that are pretty excited about something acctually opening instead of being shut down.

Let me know what any local/Ontario guys are up to in the summer!

I'm in Kanata.

I have no idea what my summer is shaping up like, but I'll be down for something. Would like to go to Shannonville, and definitely some drag strip.

Meeting up for coffee with another LSx (LTx etc.) guy would be cool too. PM me your phone number if you want!

Shannonville would be close as well, and is definately cheaper than calabogie. Does anyone ever go to Luskville? I heard they repaved it, never been but have been told it was in rough shape.

And if you ever go to either Rideau Carleton raceway on Wednesday nights or Merivale and Meadowlands on Friday nights I go to either a few times a summer, but M&M seems to be an importfest most of the time, except for the Cobalts.

If you want a meet/show with more domestic cars, head to Hazeldean Mall (Hazeldean and Eagleson) on Tuesday nights. There are a few f-body guys who hit that show regularly in the summer.

There used to be a decent club in Ottawa, but I haven't seen much of anyone from there in quite a while. A Google search might reveal something.....

You can try this board too: http://www.hostingphpbb.com/forum/in...ca8316756931a3

I haven't been there for a while either, so I'm assuming it is still running.

I got a shift light at Christmas and after it goes in, I will be wanting to hit Luskville (much closer than 4 hours away!). I haven't been over there in at least 4 years - having kids will sap a lot of time. Last time I was there they had freshly re-done the launch area with new concrete. The left lane was in reasonable shape, but the right lane had a bit of a wave in it until about the 1/8th mile mark and then it smoothed out. Not sure if that has changed.

I'll be sure to check out the hazeldean show, and that link you posted hasn't seen an action in almost a year. I would go to Luskville with anybody else who's gonna go, just let me know when your heading there!

Definitely go to Hazeldean. That's 5 minutes from my house. Let me know if you're going to be there, and I'll meet up with you.

I usually go to Luskville once a year. It was pretty rough, but will be nice to try now that it's been re-done.

Can't believe I haven't posted here. London, Ontario with a 95 Z28. It seems my car attracts a bit of attention from fellow F-body owners in town. 205,000 km on it and the transmission is in the process of getting rebuilt.

Well i'm back, sold my Z28 when i bought my condo 1 1/2 years ago... now i bought a 2001 Firebird, ok, it's no a v8, it's a 6.... but still, it's nice to be back in the F-body club again, looking forward to seeing some familiar cars during the summer meets in Ottawa area!
I'll bring my bird there for sure, just finishing installing a new WS6 hood & 18" black rims, should look nice for the summer.

Here in Edmonton. The sun is finally up for the drive to work (but daylight savings will fix that) and still up for the drive home. There is a 15 foot snow hill in the center of the cul-de-sac so the cars wouldn't be out for a while.
