Well I never made it out Friday night,something came up and I couldn't go.
So I figured I would go Saturday and with no scheduled event I would get there early and get 3 or 4 runs in by 11:30 to try and figure out these new DR's.
Then make 3 or 4 runs after that then leave to pick up the GF at 2pm.
So on my way there some 5.0 Fox was getting all racey with me and I figure if he follows me to the track I am calling him out to race and hopefully for $$.
So the girl at the gate said it was packed Friday night one of the busiest ever so Iam glad I couldn't go.
Turns out the Fox 5 bro was with 50 cars from Quebec doing some Rally 1000 or something.
They never let any of us know at the gate that these jokers would be getting the track for the first hour.
So they needed to re prep the track and we didn't get started until 12:30 then it was a total cluster #$%& with the 35 or so cars spread across all 10 lanes.
Then we had JR Dragsters and Neil playing with his new jet car ect ect.
I made 2 passes and left what a waste of a day.
By the time I made my first pass it was almost 1pm and the blazing sun was doing its best to grease the track.
So my first slip read
1.793 60ft 8.092 at 87.06 in the 1/8 12.710 at 109.06 in the 1/4
My second slip 1/2 hour later yes 35 cars and 1/2 hour between hot laps
1.806 60ft 8.156 at 86.95 and a blistering 12.816 at 106.70
I had 18 psi in the tires a 1/4 tank of fuel and flashed the converter from idle the first pass.
All the same on the second except I loaded the Chassis and converter to 2500rpm.
I think I will spend the rest of the summer prepping her for fall and resist the urge to race
