Race the Runway Sat. Aug. 13 2016
I'm getting the Camaro ready for Race the Runway 2016.
Checkout the event details here:
http://racetherunway.com/
I'm working on the replaceing or bypassing the line lock as I think it's stuck on now.
Bought a fuel pump for the Nitrous Outlet dedicated fuel system from TransAmTom, so I have to put that in with a fuse, not too sure why the first one only lasted about 15 mins. The relay and wires that came with it are installed very close, But there was no fuse. I'm going to check the amprage of the stock fuel pump and install one of the same amperage for this pump.
I'm also looking to loose a few pounds, and it's easier to take it out of the car! Any have front seats that will fit a 4th Gen? Stock or aftermarket, cloth, preferably manual.
Might take the AC out of the car but will see how far I get.
Jeff

Thanks man, I did get the brakes and fuel pump fixed but not the seats or any weight removal, still an A/C, back seat, street car. Hope your car is ok after that nasty backfire.
Didn't think it was possible to have as much fun on the wet day as a dry one... Got to hang out with good friends, meet some new ones, got three runs in, and drove away without any thing breaking anything! Very successful day! Could have went for a fourth run but decided not to risk it!
Oh ya, got some great shots too, will have some processing to do but did select these right outta the camera:

Never thought it was possible to have that much fun on a rainy day. Im already looking forward to next year. Wish they had more than one event a year or would have it at a few other locations.
