Project : BlackmirrorWS6
Hey guys!
So, figure I'll start a thread on this old girl, bought it back July 2017 and sold my 6.0 Cammed Z28.
Car was too clean to pass up for 9200 Canadian
Car is a 2002 WS6, 6 speed car.
Black on Ebony
Was purchased bone stock with flames on the hood *barf*
First order of business was to get my C5Z wheels on
Then wrap hood until that season was over
Lowered car later that first year and sent hood out of paint in fall.
The next year I did long tubes, ORy and flowmaster catback
This year, after buying our first home which has a garage, I have :
-Done a full paint correction with Cquartz Ceramic Coating
-Rebuilt both headlight motors with metal gears
-Replaced all bulbs on outside with LED
-Replaced DS window motor
-Removed both door panels, to prevent my very small cracks from spreading
-Removed BCM and soldered common bad point that was causing intermittent radio shut down
-Installed Red Ram air hood decals
-Painted Calipers Red
-Picked up a set of 4 OEM front c6Z wheels and wrapped them in Michelin Pilot Sports
-Installed Hawks 5th gen shifter conversion
Tonight I am going to use Carpro essence plus to restore coating (small scuffs from car cover) and then layer down some bead maker on it so it can cure up for spring.
Only real things left to do :
-Fix small bubbling sail panel (nightmare, so holding off lol)
-Sweating rear main, not big issue now.
Some pics of her from day 1 till now

One of the last "things to do" a side from suspension upgrades/power upgrades is my bubbling sail.
Found a 94 Z panel already removed, going out to body shop for a reglaze and respray, then install.
I took my trim off, polished and ceramic coated all the trim, and put the old trim on my car currently to be able to drive it.
Got my trim, and new T bar 3 stage polished and ceramic coated - my t top seals transfered onto bar and everything double sided taped up. Once sail comes back from body shop, get mine ripped off and new one installed finally, chicken pox free!
Pics to come!
