What is TMP's altitude?
I found a cool online calculator for figuring out DA, and when i keyed in 800ft for TMP, my corrected time from last weekend worked out to 13.03 (almost there!)

Without a doubt the C6 will run 12s bone stock, the record for a 6 speed manual is 12.2 and the record for an automatic is 12.4.
As far as my car running 12.9s, that's a little more difficult and won't happen unless conditions are picture perfect, unfortunately. It seems as it stands right now, my car is a solid 13.1 second car, as everytime I've been to the track this year it's run consistently in the 13.15 to 13.20 range. But like I said, I'm not going to throw more money at it, so it is what it is.

The plan at this point is to get one the end of next summer or if not, then the following one. That all depends on how fast they depreciate. I will have a little bit of extra money next September too, once my son goes to grade one and will be in school for a full day, so his daycare costs will go down by $300 a month.
I figure with the introduction of the new engine in the 2008 C6 (which at this point is rumored to make 425hp), it'll cause the 2005-07s to depreciate a bit faster. Lately I've found a few 05s selling for $47 to $48k. If they come down around $39 to $40k by the end of next summer, I might be able to grab one. If not, I'll just wait another year. By that point in time I'm sure I'll have no trouble finding one for $35k.

When I got 12.65 when my LT1 was bolton the D/A was -1300ft

but most of the time it would run 12.80-12.90

I know how that day care thing can surely deplete the play money. Try 3 kids! Good Luck Patman, (something else usually comes up when you have kids). Let me know if you are renting out the track - that would be fun.
