I've been told I was there for my birthday one year. I was also told not to bring any money to bet at the card tables if I ever go again.

You gotta go!! I live 2 miles from Waterloo and I go every year. It's some of the best fun you'll ever have. A large tent or building filled with 2,000 people all drinking, having a good time, music, crazy bravarian atire and some of the nicest people. I'd recomend it to all even thinking about it. There's all kinds of places to go that week in october, about 20 different clubs, a parade, and a bunch of suvenier shops. The best one I've gotta say is The Concordia Club in Kitchener (my home town) but buy tickets in advance ($20 each) because they'll sell out at Concordia 6 months in adance. Come up north and enjoy some Canadian entertainment, you won't be dissapointed. Plus we get to do 100 on our highways. lol.

Anybody know of any good places to stay? Looking for a hostel, but only found two, and I think one actually closes at 11pm. The other is in a pub (sweet) but I'm looking for other options as well.
