I have been thinking about signing up, I would have to make a few changes to get the car doing 11.3 or better.(ET streets and strip the interior) But what happens if he flashes a 10.5 card and my car is only an 11.0 car? I guess I would have to hope the car next to me makes a mistake.

No cards will be flahed faster than the base et of 11.30 ever
even if two 9 seconds cars line up.

I don't really get this.

How are you suppost to ensure you don't run faster than a time given to you after you stage, a few seconds before the green light?

Unless you know what times the dozen 'death cards' are and have practiced runing those times before hand. Your not going to know how much to let off.

Rich mentions looking a stop watch during your run... which I think is stupid your not going to able to start the stopwatch and lanch the car at the same time. And it would be dangours to watch a stopwatch when you should be watching where your going.

The winner of this will have alot of luck on there side.

just catch a good light(or arm )
It is likely the cards will all be between 11.30 and 12.0
It will be a combination of luck, skill and knowing your car
the best part is racing in front of 10,000 people for only 35 bucks hell it costs 35 bucks for 2 movie tickets
