Default Camshaft Tech Questions.

I just put together my first hot rod & bought an 02 LS-1 long block out of a firebird that was already built, The Camshaft is from Comp Cams & the specs are 230-230 612 int 591 exh. 111+2 my question is, what exactly does each of the numbers represent? I believe the duration means that the valve is open for 230 degrees out of 360 of crank rotation? And the lift is how much the valve opens in thousands of an inch? And I'm not even sure that that is entirely accurate. But the 111+2, I have no idea what that means at all!! Can anyone help get me up to speed so I can understand all of this?

PS is this a decent cam?
