Default Fan controller

I purchased the vaunted Taurus cooling fan for my car. I have been searching for relay solution that will control both speeds and have an a/c overide.

I think I will order this fan controller today:

The tech guys at Derale say it can handle the amperage needs of the hungry 2 speed Taurus fan and has an override for a switch and/or air conditioning signal.

I tried that guy before I bought the Derale. I sent him a few emails and got no return communication.

Hmmm good to know. I'll be looking else where I guess. Keep us updated on the Derale unit.

Do you remember where you installed the temp probe? I can't remember the metric size on the block but I know the probe on this is 3/8 NPT.

Thanks,
Jeff

After a few months of no shipment from Summit, I found out that the Derale unit was "still under development". After I got done WTFing Summit for selling me a product that did not exist yet, I bought the Painless Wiring kit and I could not be more please. It even hooks up to the factory temperature sensor.

I assume you got the 30142 with the metric sensor? I've been looking for a controller and this looks like the best option so far. Did you find anyone that has it for a good price?

I think I have the PRF-30141. I used the sensor that was in the motor from the factory. The one that came with the kit is still in the box.
