.035 n/a

you shouldn't be running tr6 on a 200 shot, you need plugs in the 8-9 range IMO and that should be much tighter. .023-.026 for a starting point.

This is interesting. Most of the EFI guys say they are running gaps from .045" to .055".

I've read in a few places that as long as your ignition is strong enough to handle it, you want to run the bigger gap. And like was just mentioned, the efi guys seem to be running big gaps like .055 and around there. I'll try the small gap on my next plug swap.

Exactly, thats why i dont want to run a gap smaller than .045.

I just spoke to MSD tech and they said that it is related to the compression ratio. He said for 10:1 compression he recommends .040" to .045". As the compression goes up, tighten it up. For example: he said if you hit 11+:1 compression you might go .035". He did indicate that this was not a specific stead fast rule but he did say never go over .060".

for the guys running wide gaps: if you start having high rpm miss-fire problems, then start tightening the gap.
As cylinder pressure goes up, the resistance across the plug gap goes up, and the ignition has a more difficult time to fire the plug.
