Default Hood clearance/68 Camaro

I am switching my 68 Camaro over to an ls2 with l94 heads and am concerned about being able to retain my factory ss hood.Does anyone know the carb. pad height differences between the gm manifold and the victor junior? I did have a smallblock chevy with a holley 300-25 intake [ 6 " ] pad height that fit under the hood with a dropped aircleaner. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

The ls with jr should not be that much higher than a sbc. Also depends on mounts used. May affect the seating of the engine location as well. There's various swap mounts available. Depends what you end up with

Did you end up using the stock hood or cowl?
