Just wondering what you guys have done. It's a carbd LS6 that is going in my road race car so I'm trying to keep wiring to a bare minimum. I would like the use the alternator off the LS1 I've got in the car now. Just not too sure how to wire it up. It's got a pin connector for 4 wires but only one going to it.
Thanks for the help guys.

There is nothing special about LS alternators. You can hook them up just like a first gen.
The only exception to that is some LS alts need a resistance in the voltage sensing wire. Like the bulb for the alternator idiot light. Lots of guys substitute a 470 ohm resistor if they don't have the bulb.
Any alt can be converted to a one wire, but three wires do a better job of regulating voltage. Pretty simple matter to run the extra wires.
