Default Shaker hood?

Hey guys,
I searched with little luck, does anyone have experience with the ls running a carb under a shaker hood. How well did it line up and what intake/carb/air cleaner did you use? I'm not trying to reinvent the wheel so if you have a setup that works I'll mirror that. Thanks in advance.

A shaker hood on what? Chrysler used shaker hoods, Ford used shaker hoods, and Pontiac used shaker hoods. More information is needed to answer your question. Eric L

i was gonna put one on my 00 ta with a 78 scoop, but it wound up not fitting my ls3 intake (made for ls1 4th gens)

anyway, there were like 4-5 different lower air boxes on those shaker tas, so if one year doesnt fit you could swap to another one with different height/offset. all i really know about them i learned on google looking for a flap for my setup, lol.

want a carbon fiber scoop? lol
