Default Fuel line

I am curious what size fuel line you guys are running...to support 500 chp??

I ran number 10....but my tank is in the trunk.....

-10 is huge. I was hoping to use 3/8" ID teflon but am concerned that I may be pushing my luck...pump is 72 gph free flow.

-12 braided from cell to filter/pump,then -8 aluminum tubing from pump to regulator then -8 braided to the carb.

Edit: this same set-up was on a friends low 9 second BBC, I got it cheap

6AN should work just fine. I supported 800 CHP VERY WELL with 8AN from the pump in the trunk to the regulator. So for 500 CHP 6AN should be fine. Hope this helps, Eric L
