The wix race filter came today. It is so sheer you can almost see through it. It is definitely a "race" filter.

I bought the K&N Xstream filter system a few years back when I started my project. It soon turned out that the filter lid was less than desireable to use, so I added an AFCO dome top. I found a lawn-mower finger screw at a hardware store and painted it to match the lid.
