Default NASCAR Spec engine

How much power does the Nascar Spec engine make? It is produced by Robert Yates Racing engines, originally by WEGNER engines. Any information on service limits, experience with the engine most appreciated.

I'm not a "NASCRAP" fan ( sorry!), sure didn't know they were building LS motors for that...

These "spec" engines are not the ones you see running every weekend in the top 3 series, more like their weekly series at the short tracks.
