Bring back this super old thread lol. I want to know if anyone has experience with these carburetor cams. If so, are they good for nos? And how much clearance did you have? I'm running an Lq4 small dome, but with valve reliefs, stock stroke and bore. Ls3 heads. I'm worried about clearances, not sure what cam size to go with.

Do yourself a huge favor. Call Cam Motion or Martain Smallwood and have one of them spec you out a custom cam. Won't be any more expensive and you will be very happy with the outcome. Those are shelf cams from Lunati. We had the bottom one. And with 14.2:1 compression we had 255 to 265 lbs of cranking compression. It ran good. But make sure you got some light weight valves and go a little higher on the spring pressure to handle it. We used the best Lunati hydraulic lifters which were the best Morels. They were quite noisy. If I went hydraulic again it would probably be Johnson's. But we went solids with Titainium valves with a much larger custom cam this time around. Should run fairly well.

Does Matin have any specific office times? I called and it's full, don't want to be a bother.
