"Speedo gear housing" help! I bought a TCI th400 for my 69 carbed ls1 project and now I'm needing a gear housing/assembly. Ive asked all the auto stores and local trans shops and they all look at me like I'm crazy. Two of the shops gave me some housings that were supposed to fit but I had no luck with them. They were slightly bigger than the hole On my trans.
I thought about ordering TCI PN880043 but I'm not sure If this will fit.
Where the hell can I get this piece as I don't want to order it off line due to the chance Ordering the wrong one. Any suggestions, previous experiences such as mine....
