Cool....congrats. I just wrapped up my custom carb'd cam swap this evening myself. PtoV clearance was better than I expected, although it went in on a 111 ICL instead of the 109 it was supposed to be ground on. Oh well....can't wait to get it back to the track for some new times with the new cam. I'll be looking forward to hearing your results as well! Good luck!

It sounds very good; both at idle and especially at high RPM. I would have liked an even lumpier idle, but I am not dissatisfied at all. It is excellent.

Which pushrod did you choose and is your valvetrain quiet?

I went down to the 1/8 mile at Sunshine Drag strip tonight to Run 7.50 index. The car went a 7.39 @ 94.29 in 1000 D/A. The car was on a 7.37 pass in eliminations, but I had to get on on brakes.

It actually picked up 2 hundredths in the 60' over the old smaller cam which was very surprising. Tells me that I could have went bigger on the intake duration.

It also leaned the car out about a half of a point. It is at about 13.2 right now. So I will jet it up 1 all around and see if this cam likes any more timing on Wednesday night. We are forecasted to have better air on Wednesday.
