Thumbs down cam companies...

do these guys even train their tech people? half the places ive called dont ask vehicle weight, intended use, header primary size, what tranny is in the car, gear ratio, tire size...

they just throw a generic cam at me and say "we have sold a ton of bla bla bla"

really? this is a purchace and a job i dont need to do twice.

Talk to someone on here like patrick G, or mike from rapid motorsports about a custom cam for a carbed application. The "big" cam companies are not the best place to shop for a cam for big LS power from my experience. And if you look at the guys making good power, or more power than thier combonation "should" be putting out, they usually have a custom ground cam from a smaller company. Just my .02. Eric L
