3 Pedals has a really similar set up to yours. You should see what he is running for a baseline. Have you looked through the carb database sticky yet?

Generally 10 degrees of Map is a good place to start. Map can do 3 things for you: Improve the idle, fuel economy and emissions.

You will have two charts in the software. One for the timing curve and one for the map curve. Under wide open throttle, you will not be producing any engine vacuum, so the MAP will not affect your WOT total timing figure. However, at a part throttle cruise and idle, your MAP will add the timing. It is not unusual to hit 50 degrees timing at a light cruise.

ah .. seems like your running a similar setup.. can you post your timing chart or let me know where it is..
so running 34 degrees or so on the rpm table and 14 degrees on the map table is not too much? Thank you for all your help

All my information is in the Carb Database sticky thread. No that is not too much cruise timing.
