New dyno pulls Due to our building is sold and the owner is retiring he's also selling the dyno. On that note I'm taking my wife's LQ4 powered Monza back to the shop for some dyno thrashing. Last summer it made 400rwhp thru an 8" converter.The shortblock is stock. The heads are LS3 with Comp Cam beehive springs. GM Head Gaskets. Comp custom length pushrods. The cam is a Comp 230/232 and I think .580/583. A 112 lobe displacement angle. I know the cam is wrong . BUT it was on the shelf and no piston notching required.Right now the car has modified truck manifolds.
My plan is to try all the MSD timing chips plus a custom timing curve. I want to see what the car likes. I also have several carbs to try. Annular booster , downleg and straight leg.
Right now it has A GM single plane intake.I wish I had the GM dual plane to try as well.I'm willing to pay shipping both ways if someone will lend a GM dual plane.
Car ran 11.64@120 with a poor 1.78 60'.Car is 2850 no driver, so close to 3100# with my portly *** in it.

I got the sticker for the plates and drove the Monza to the shop to-day. The snow is pretty much gone and the road was dry. I changed the oil/filter and filled her up with gas. Ready to rock/roll.
Sunday is a trip to the swap meet in Detroit. Monday is dyno day.
Gotta love being retired and a free dyno to play with.
