I have an LY6, the pistons are dished, and have exhaust valve reliefs, and NO intake reliefs. Here is a pic of my pistons with very small flycuts for the intake valves
I ran a 227/235 @ .050", 114 +4 with lots of PtoV clearence, I would think a 231-239 on a 114 would fit, but as you tighten up the LSA things start to get closer.

I'll be using a similar cam 226/234 113+3 lsa. I plan to mill about .030" and run a .040" gasket for compression. I am without a doubt going to check for clearance just getting an idea of what to expect.
Also what are you daily driver guys current opinion on keeping the ly6 oil pump after the vvt delete, and how much real world driving have ya'll put down?
