Default anyone have a spare 6012 box?

mine is in the land of the lost till msd sends it back so my car is down. anyone want to sell one cheap? i dont even need the harness...i am thinking it maybe a good idea to have a spare box since this one cooked in a month (my last regular 6al lasted me 15 years, and i sold it working!)

I have not had a issue yet with any of the several I have, but friends have killed them with poor grounds wired badly. Good luck with your search, the 6010 is still way more common.

yeah mine cooked thrugh the 2 step for some reason. car was running fine, 2 step stopped working. fount the tab broken on the switch so i changed it. tested the 2 step twice (still didnt work) then the car died and the box went up in smoke. its 12v in to the switch, then out to the blue wire on the box. cant really fugg that up.box is grounded to the back of the motor, motor is grounded to the frame with 0 gauge cable.

Battery is grounded to the same spot on the motor as the ground to the frame
