MSD 6010 and 4th Gen tach
Hey, question for you 4th gen swappers...
Did you have any issues with getting your stock tach to work? When I connected the yellow wire from the 6LS to the white wire that goes to pin 10 on ECU (engine speed/tach), my tach still wont work. Do I need to trace that wire further to a connector that goes to the stock tach?
I know that the ECU pin sends out a signal, so I could only assume that wire is what goes to the tach, yet I get nothing. I'd rather not go get another tach and its not exactly convenient to look at a laptop while driving let alone making a pass.
Any help on the subject would be much appreciated. Thanks!

On my 95, I had a HEI and the output from that worked, but that was a single cool system from the factory, you are trying to run a single coil signal to one that operates off 8, so there will probably be a serious issue if you are dead set on not using a aftermarket tach.
