Default Streetknight's Fox Build

Well guys, I figured it was time to post up a somewhat of a build thread on my Mustang.

Nothing to write home about, she's not a looker, but hopefully it will run out ok.

Car:
88' Mustang GT
AJE K member and UPR Tubular front with coil overs
Moser 8.8 Rear with 4.10 gears, 35 spline axles, and spool
Roll Bar with swing outs
Turbo Action Cheetah Shifter
TH350 Transmission
PTC 8" converter

Stock bottom end LQ9 with ARP rod bolts and pistons fly cut for custom Patrick G cam
LS3 Heads
Victor Jr Intake
Pro Systems 950 Carb
Dynatech headers

Not much different than most of these builds lol, just mine will probably be a lot slower. Engine is almost together and will hopefully be putting in car this weekend. Still got to get a drive shaft cut, figure out if I wanna run car or truck accessories etc.

Been fun so far though. Thanks for all the info I've found in this section, been a big help guys.

Driveshaft is the least of your worries. lol Mine was a different kind of build though. We hit wall after wall with my build.

Good luck and if you need any advice let me know. Car will be a beast.

Always loved the GTs. My personal fav of the foxs. And I doubt it will be slow unless you think 10s are slow?! Sweet car though imo.

Wish thy was mine. I want to build a 85 or 86 coupe. But a GT would be cool. I cannot wait to build my own, don't know what would be more difficult than a drive shaft, between the K member that is cheap for direct bolt in and build your own X member, chopping off the ford flanges for the LS flang on a set of headers is nearly cheating! Lol

Keep us updated, love watching the little fords fly with the LS power.

OK guys, finally got my rag running. Made a video for you of a walk around and a little of it idling. Still a long way to go, needs a lot of cosmetic attention which hopefully it will get this winter. Going for a front end alignment Thursday and hopefully to the local 1/8 mile track for some Test hits Friday night.

Enjoy and sorry for me being out of breath and my country *** accent.

It's F body accessories. It should clear a 2.5" cowl. I think mine is a 3" but I haven't tried to fit a breather yet. I am running a 1" Carb spacer though.
