THe cheapest really good quality carbs I've found so far are the Proforms. No such luck for my customers running the Summits

Yea the housings are different is what I was telling him. Like you said if he has the 8.5 he is better off just swapping a posi unit in. Even if its the 7.5 it can still live with the right parts and modifications.

Yea I have a 7.5 how can I build up what I have ? Not putting slicks on it or taking to the track so I'm not really looking to dump too much cash into it maybe a couple hundred bucks at most.

Yea if your not running slicks it should be fine. I've heard of some guys using the posi units and gears out of the 4th gen f bodies. They hold up well. Also invest in the rear end cover that has the bearing supports in it to keep everything from flexing.
