My 67 Chevelle build.

Things are moving slow. I cleaned up the engine compartment and routed wiring up into the wheel wells. I hung the new 9" rear and new tubular control arms. I plumbed fuel line. I went with a Fst performance filter (very nice by the way http://fstperformance.com/ ) to a walbro 255 -6 to a Mallory bypass fpr, -8 return to the original tank filler. I previously added a competition engineering sump to my OEM galvanized 67 tank. I live down the road from Racepartsolutions so I have gone through a multitude of fuel fittings and lines to get it all proper. I installed the 5.3 and Hughes th400 connected all as one. It was a tight squeeze but with no rad it wasnt so bad. The motor dropped down onto those hooker swap plates like butter. My Hedman mid length ls swap headers fit first shot. I had to dent them a little to clear my MSD starter. I sent them for ceramic coating Monday. The Griffin Ls swap radiator fit perfect. I moved the 6010 to the wheel well, the Quickfuel was bumping the box. I have to cut the driveshaft and install the new exhaust and I should be rolling. I know there are a hundred little details to finish, but the light at the end of the tunnel is near. I included a pic of my Wegner steam line fittings and the -4 push lock to a T for the line to the rad.

Here are some random pictures from the build.
Rad shroud from a dishwasher.
Wiring the cts seats.
Exhaust almost done. Magnaflow side exits.
Thunder Road dash and speedhut gauges. First dash was cracked on arrival. What an absolute piece of **** product that whole thing turned out to be. Love my gauges though.
Dash and budnik wheel in.
My son is ready for the prom.
Engine bay
Steam ports and alt wires
Old dipsticks should be replaced before you assemble your motor. Trust me.
Airbags might not line up with a new rear. Get the torch out.....
My boys like Caddy seats.....

Rsr,
I did go to Abacoa previously, but I swore no car events at all until I could drive mine there myself. There just arent enough hours in the day anymore. The build is nearly done, so look for me up there in June for sure. Say hello in person.
