if I order the Flywheel spacer (12563532) and bolts (19257940) can I use the flywheel that came on my LS2, use the flywheel that came with the 700r4 trans, or do I need to order the replacement flywheel (19260102). I know this has been asked a thousand times but I just need some clarification so I can order the parts.

The trade off is that if you ever decide to go with a newer 4L60 series tranny you will have to buy the flexplate anyway. I used kit 712500A from Advance Adapters which comes with an LS style flexplate, bolts and the extension for the torque converter pilot. Cost $150 vs $60 for the spacer and bolts but it will save you money down the road.

i went to a gm dealership and bought a flexplate for a 03 6.0 2500 truck and it comes with flexplate, adaptor and bolts for $80 brand new in the box...but you will have to oblong the converter bolt holes alittle bit for it to bolt to the 700r4 converter....

I got a 03 6.0 with stock flex plate. You had to add the spacer to that flexplate right? And you added the spacer at the crank and followed by the flexplate. Then oblong the holes about a 1/8"? Thanks rebuilding my 700r4 to handle my 6.0 and trying to get it all figured out

Does your 6.0L have cast iron heads? Did it have a manual tranny? These two 6.0L engines have a different crank so they are not the same as typical LS engines. So long as your motor is not one of these two then the following should apply.
Your stock flexplate should be dished. So you would not use the GM spacer. You would use one like Speedway Motors part#57518346. Reuse your flexplate bolts.
The GM spacer is used with a flat GenI style flexplate. Do some more searches on here to confirm my information as I've been away from LS1tech for awhile. Check the tranny tech section too as there may be dedicated threads to 700R4 swaps.
