Default Ls1 Ms4 Cam Jetting/Metering Questions

My Ls1 has an Ms4 cam kit, victor jr intake, shorty headers, Edelbrock 750 performer carb with stock rods/jets. It's always been way to rich from idle and up throughout the entire powerband. I checked the edelbrock owners manual calibration page, I want to slightly lean out wot but drastically lean out cruising mode. I was thinking .110" primary jet with .073"x.047" metering rod and stock .107" secondary jet with 5" Hg orange step up spring. Does this sound ok to anyone? I've never tuned a carb but I've heard its easy to switch the jets/rods. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks

Unless your in love with that edelbrock I would put a Holley on it. Personally I find holleys easier to tune. I've just never had much luck making them run great.

Maybe you're right man but I've already paid the money for this eddy carb so I want to see what I can extract with this set up first. Thanks for the advice though
