What will it run?

I've got a Mustang that weights around 3100 with driver,good suspension under it,373 gears,400 tubro trans no convertor yet.Thinking about ordering a LSX376 Crate Engine.What do you think it would run in the 1/8th with the right convertor and carb.This car would also be driven on the street.

Not sure on that crate engine, is it a stock cam? With that car and even a stock 376 it would go low 11's with a 3500-4000 stall.
Cam it and you will see low 10's

11s no doubt, if lq4 stock motors are doin it you're a guarantee to knock 11s of some type whether it be high mid or low.

Low 7s in the 1/8th with no cam. With cam and nasty converter, mid to high 6s.

It has like a 530or 40 hydraulic roller.

Are you asking about the aluminum block LS3 based LS376/515 or the iron LSX block LSX 376?

Significantly different engines.

I was going to say. There are a couple of different versions of that crate motor.

I think summit might list the wrong torque rating for the link above. They are saying 575 ft-lb of torque but other places are saying 470 ft-lbs. The summit price is about a grand more than other sites too.
