Default Breaking up at 5k and above RPM

Help me out guys. I can't figure it out.... It sounds like I'm hitting the rev limiter but I don't even have it set up on the the msd. I have adjusted the float level countless times to see if it was starving fuel. cant seem to figure it out. Will a vacuum leak cause it do this at high rpm?. I looked around for some but did not find anything.

lol I'm a little embarrassed to reply my fix to this problem... but I was assuming that the Rev limiter was off bc I did not have it hooked up, I didn't know that something totally different. Well i set it to 6600 and she riped!

You're not the first person to do that. It comes set at 5500 RPM out of the box. Ask us all how we know.

Just be glad you have one. The edlebrock box doesn't.

haha.. thats funny. It doesn't help that the area in which you have to adjust the rev lim is very small and cut off where you can't see it. lol.

You have to expand the middle window on the left. It's right above the 3 digital gauges.
