I have a b.o.p. trans sitting around and have been giving some thought as to if i should just buy an adapter plate and use it, anyhow hers the question the plate im looking at is 1/8'' thick would the added thickness of the adapter plate between the engine and trans cause any issues when using the crank spacer

If your converter clearance is greater than 3/16", you could use AN washers as shims between the converter and flexplate.
