Question reluctor wheel milling?

hi, piston seems to be too close to reluctor wheel when crank is going bdc, clearance is less than .010" already milled piston until possible, could i mill reluctor wheel for more clearance? would that be risky? about .010" clearance between piston-reluctor wheel, would that be bad?
one more thing what's the normal distance crank sensor to reluctor wheel?
thanks guys.

Get ahold of LME or another engine builder that has done hundreds of builds. They will have the right answer.

From what I hear, the MSD units are already pretty picky about the crank signal, no sense in tempting fate...
