Question msd 6010 software program

I have installed on my computer MSD pro data 3.19, when I plug in my msd box it says recommend install pro data upgrade and change graph set auto view.... It does not allow me to transfer anything to or from the box but I am able to see it when it is connected in the software. I cannot find a more up to date version of this software. Has anyone ran into this problem?

I have 3.19 on my computer. I do not get this message.

Revision: I see that I in fact do not have Pro Data 3.19. I have MSD Graph View 3.19. I do not know the difference as of now.

Also make sure you do not have the powersports program. Also mine is graphview, too.

So for anyone who cares to know what the answer to my problem was, it turned out that I have a prototype of the msd 6010 box called the msd 6010 v02 and there is no prgramming software for it.. But the good guys at MSD said that they would gladly exchange it for the correct box at no cost to me except for shipping. For anyone else out there who may run into this problem one of the giveaways of it is it is a black box with MSD on it instead of a red one.

Try selecting a different numbered com port.

I have to walk through the list until I select the one it likes.

I had to download a different driver for mine to read. I just went through this recently. Downloaded the driver and selected the com port and it worked.

You'd do best to get it from the mfg of your computer. Not all drivers are equipped for all hardware.

My laptop prompted a message to me that said driver not compatible. It then prompted "find compatible driver - yes/ no" I selected yes and my laptop found and installed it. Sorry, I'm not really a computer guy.
