Hello All. I am currently building a Carb'd LSX 434. Its a GM LSX iron bowtie block, The heads I have are MAST 280cc CNC LS7 6-bolt heads, GM LSX/LS7 single plain 4150 intake manifold, and I am planning on running a holley hp 950 mechanical secondary. Looking to run around 11.5:1 compression on 91 pump gas. I am Having trouble deciding on a camshaft... I have heard that u wanna run a tight LSA for carb setup. This will be a 90% street car but I want it to be able to really run down the track too. as for a street car I wont be revving any higher than 7000 but I don't want it to be a complete dog down low either...I was hoping to reach 650+ HP at the crank NA, I intend on running a 150 shot of NOS also. Was looking at the katech torquer 110 but not sure how it would run with a carb setup?? Any advice guys on this whole setup??

I would opt for a SV1 carb from pro systems for that much motor. You will fully want a custom grind cam for your application I'm sure you know. Martin at tick performance has been looking out for us carb guys and efi guys as well for custom spec cams. Give him a shout. He may chime in here very soon. A zex perimeter plate system will work perfect with a sv1 carb setup as well for the nitrous.
