Does anyone have a picture of the L92/LS3 Dual plane next to a GMPP single plane intake. Want to see the difference In heigth of the two..thanks
Not the GMPP single , but Topbrent has a thread with side by sides of the Vic Jr and the GMPP dual plane on this forum. If I remember right, the GM single is just slightly shorter than the Vic Jr.
Im running the GMPP LS3 dual plane on my LS3 and think it is a really nice intake. You can see that a lot of research went into the design. They crammed all the length they could into it while not getting out of hand on heigth , but the inside diminsions are big enough to carry a lot of air and RPM.

Really? I thought it was maybe a 1/2" at the most. So its a lot lower than the dual plane? The GMPP dual plane is only around a 1/4" shorter than the Vic Jr.
4.875 is the measurement on the GMPP single plane.. i just measure mine
Victor Jr: 5-15/16 (5.9375 'ish)
GMPP LSX Dual Plane: 5-23/32 (around 5.72" 'ish)

Thats interesting. I think the dual plane is so tall because the LS3 style runners make it necessary, just to be able to stack one on top of the other. The carb pad is only about a 1/4" above the "high" runners.
