quick ?...being that the 5.3 was bored/honed to 5.7...when getting the pistons/rings...which should I be looking for.....010 020 030 040 ?....
I know if you bore a 5.7 030...you need 030 pistons/rings...
what bore is for a 5.3 to 5.7 ?...tks

If it is bored to a 5.7 it would just be standard 5.7 pistons. I'm doing the same thing well already have my block finished in storage now, I went with flat top mahles and I have ls2 243s milled 0.040. Should be pretty fun, my builder said it should be around 11:1 comp.
