Default Need some input on build

I have 46 Chevy rat rod should weigh 2000-2500 lbs.
4.10 gears, either th350 or 700r4.
Its getting a carbed 5.3 stock except for open headers.
I need some suggestions on cam and convertor.
It will spend 90% of its time street driving however I want it to sound nasty and perform as best as possible while being streetable. I was looking at cams like the asa and edelbrock 2215 and 2216 because I can use cheap springs and possibly find used cam.

The 2216 sounds great and runs good in my TA. You could use LS6 springs and stock pushrods.

Ive seen vids of your car it runs really good. What kind of stall would I need to run? Also a member offered me a custom ground 230/230 612/591 111+2cam with springs. Better or worse than a 2216? Too much for a 5.3.

That would work well for a budget. The higher lift would be good. The 2216 is only .540. Would work great either way with a 3200 converter.
