What distributor gear with GMPP front drive kit?

What distributor gear with GMPP front drive kit? I've done some searching, but haven't found any answers other than 'if you think you should, you might want to', so I thought I'd ask again.
We're running a LS1 in our 3rd Gen C Prepared autocross car. It has the GMPP front drive kit, and we have the recommended MSD distributor. The kit instructions and parts list don't indicate we need to run a bronze gear, but I wanted to see if anyone knows for sure. I thought I'd ask here before talking with Wegner, or someone like that. Thank you.
