What port on the carb do you run the hose to. Can I use the hole in the side of the plenum of the intake?

no hose needed..my sensor goes directly into the intake.

I forgot to ask an essential question. Is this with an MSD box, or the Edelbrock box?

MSD here, not many have the edelbrock. Im not even sure if the edelbrock offers a map???

Default map sensor question

do you have to use a map sensor on a carbed swap? just wondering cause I have one and not sure if I should use it, what are the benefits of using one? thanks

I have never used one on any of my swaps. But they can improve fuel econemy at part throttle cruise.

just an update for more ideas, I made a bracket to mount my map today. map is on order and it once it gets here Ill post a fully mounted picture. anyway, here is how mine will be mounted. ( also I will clean up and polish the bracket, this is just a rough draft)
