LOL. I will take that to mean that you have no immediate plans. If I were in your position I would definitely sell that cam in the classifieds. A blower cam will have about the worst valve events for a single plane N/A setup. Well, a turbo cam is probably worse, but you get my drift. Why sabotage an otherwise great project? It is easy to remedy now while the engine is on the stand.

By immediate I mean possibly next season. I want the car to be ready to slap a procharger on and go without having to tear it all apart again. I intend to start framing my house ASAP so I won't have the time to be tearing this car apart all the time for cam swaps and such. Basically I want to get it running and driving so it isn't a dead hulk in my friends garage. Even if it isn't optimal N/A for now, that's fine with me....but I do understand what you are saying.

Thanks, I was legit bed ridden and had to crawl and be pushed in a wheelchair for 6 weeks before surgery. Not something you expect at 29. Still have some pressure on the nerve but am 12 weeks out of surgery now. I wanna drive this thing!

My next summit order goes in soon
-new intake bolts for the victor jr ( I like an idiot bought the wrong ones)
-TCI SFI flexplate to mate LS to th400
-camshaft positioning sensor
-oil pressure sender
-crankshaft position sensor
Now I have some questions, I'm gonna run all this junk off an MSD 6010 I don't own yet. Do I need the sensor connectors like these too?
http://www.carid.com/dorman/engine-c...BeqhoCeTnw_wcB
or does the MSD plug directly into just the sensors?
Also, what are people running for MAP sensors? This article on step 21 says "MSD map sensor"
http://www.superchevy.com/how-to/eng.../flywheel.html
is one included or am I just an idiot? Can I use a factory one on the victor jr? Do I even need one?
Thanks for answering any of my dumb questions. As I've said a million times learning as I'm going here and nobody around this area knows anything about these swaps.

MAP sensor...factory unit with a slight mod , remove the factory rubber piece from the MAP, add a hose barb to the manifold, then connect the 2 with a short hose.
IF you don't have the MSD box yet....look into the Daytona Sensor box...look like its a lot better. OR IF you're stuck on the MSD box, email MikeF. @ SK-Speed....GREAT prices (even with S&H it was a lot cheaper than Summit) PLUS, he also has the TCI plate
Oil press. sensor...I drilled out the factory unit, tapped for the bushing I needed, and cleaned up with Brake Klean

Thank you, I'm gonna owe you a ride and a beer if you ever find yourself in this state. I've been using SK speed over summit for all my stuff, I'd rather support the little guy especially when their prices are even better than the big guy.

Sensors are all on, ordering a PRW SFI flexplate and hub tomorrow. Brace yourselves for another stupid question.....
Will these flexplate bolts be long enough
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ar...rK4aAvT68P8HAQ
I keep reading you need longer bolts. Also measured for pushrods so I emailed SK speed about a price on some hardened Comp 7.375's. And to my own stupidity I got intake gaskets for a truck so my Edelbrock bolts were too short, went back and bought longer bolts and LS1 intake gaskets so hopefully a combo of those will get the intake on.
Once that junk is here I can marry the motor to the car, right now they are living three towns apart. Like to have it all in one spot and have it look like a car again.

My TCI plate came with bolts.
But looking around I found this on Amazon as usually bought together....
ARP 2442901 Pro Series Flexplate Bolt Kit for Gen III/LS Series Small Block Chevrolet
So I'd guess yes.
