That glide does not want to leave as hard as a 3 speed due to gearing. You need to leave at idle or like I do, about 1200 rpm and nail it so you hit the converter harder. You ever install sub frames? Do you have a anti roll bar? Last I checked you didn't, those components will transfer energy as well as square the chassis up for the launches. 107 mph is pretty nice man, I only wish but I'm not gutting my street car, maybe another if I ever want a dedicated strip car?

No, your good, the 100 shot is gonna multiply torque allot. But sub frames and anti roll usually help a ton. I am going to do a anti roll soon, and I will let you know how much it helps all motor. Doesn't waste energy allowing it to squat to the right rear.

I know I am only hitting 1.55 60 at best, tight converter and 3.73s just aren't helpin but the 150 shot going on soon should love this converter.

ok guys for today runs,,, I went back to 93 fuel and 35 deg timing I changed to 606 plugs..best pass was 1.44 60ft and ran a 6.54 at 105mph, and the plugs looked great on 93 pump gas,, other passes was about the same

ok now for the nos passes,, I mixed the fuel 1/2 93 and 1/2 with 110 race gas,, stuck with the 35 deg timing,, this is on a 100 shot,,, his the nos right after I left 1.39 60ft and went a 6.11 at 113.15 mph,,, next nos pass hit it right when I hit the throttle,, had a 1.33 60ft at 6.06 at 112.87 so it coming around but the last pass it finally picked the tire up on driver side Purdy bad it finally was twisting... now it needs a anti-roll bar... also forgot all the passes was leaving at 2100,, but still flashing 4700... also at finish line its turning 7000 on the nos passes...

I still think TICK PERFORMANCE make one super cam for me... thanks martin..

Did you jet it up? I thought you were going to run it on E85?

6.50@105 is getting it though! There is still a lot more there if you want it, but sounds like to me it's time to fine tune the 100 shot tune-up a little bit more and get a 5.90 out of it on a 100 shot!

Where were you shifting it at today? 7000rpm?

I would also try to pull 2 degrees of timing the next time you run 50/50 pump/race gas. I bet it goes faster on less timing or doesn't lose anything at all.

You really need to get a wide band in this thing so you can monitor what it's doing or be diligent about reading plugs which it sounds like you are.

So you gained 60 foot but lost 2 mph over previous? That's not right, unless you were spinning. That can cause a higher mph some times.

like I said before it was spinning right before the shift and after the shift some,, at this other track,, im prob going to say the car is about under 2800 with me in it,, you guy think I just post some stupid stuff but just telling what it does,,

well make some more changes this week for the race Friday night...
I didn't want to change to much at one time, so I waited on putting the e85 on,, trying to find what it likes in just a single change or 2,,, and I hate working on too much at track...

on the motor passes I still shifted at 6500 to see if I made progress from what it ran at other track passes,,,, but on my nos passes I moved it to 6800.. for them..

I dont find it hard to believe, hell, my car is closer to 3100 and has went 6.50@105. Of course i have the L92 heads, but still. I know mine seems to like rpm's. the higher you wind it the more it mph's. Shifting at 6500 it runs 103, at 7k, it runs 105.
