im pretty sure with the ls2 you need the msd 6012 not the msd 6010

Wasn't there a batch made with the wrong connector? Seems like it was mis-keyed so the shells wouldn't match up...

the 24 and 58 wheel sensors do have different sized cam sensor connectors.

Also make 100% sure you aren't mixing up the cam and crank sensor. I had that issue when I initially tried to hook a 6010 box to my 58X wheel motor. They moved the sombeaches when they went to the new motor so make sure the harness is right.

Ok figured out what was wrong.. I bought a cam cover with the cam sensor. My cover had a harness that plugged into the sensor and went to the bottom of cover.. the msd 6010 will not plug into it because its a ls2 etc setup. If you unplug the harness from the cam sensor and plug the msd right into the cam sensor it goes right in.

There you go. The 6012 I have used fits the GM harness and the cam sensor itself.
