Default 5.3 LM7 changes over the years

I have searched and got conflicting answers on the changes the 5.3 LM7 has went threw. This is what I came up with from several differant pages and is this right?

03+ all went to drive by wire
04+ have better block? and shorter head bolts
05+ got better heads, connecting rods, and flat tops
07+ got bigger intake manifolds + 87 mm TB

I would say that's pretty much right except the block, not sure what differences they could make but there are 99-03 blocks cranking serious HP with nothing more than an opened ring gap(or not for the crazy guys), new bearings from the ring gap mod, heads bolts and lots of boost.

I also don't think they went to the better heads until 07+ as well... like zone said everything else looks good but what could they change to the block?

Are the rod bolts the same as the LS1?
If so, were they upgraded in 2001 motors?
