Default LSX intake & headers

hi My name is david and i need your guys help i just bought 2 LSX454R Small Block V8 from chevroletperformance.com and i need help looking for parts and i cant find headers or an intake manifold for it so can you guys please help me its gonna be going into my 1968 Chevrolet Camaro SS and my 57 Chevorlet Bel-Air so please help my Email is Hellcarver12345432@gmail.com if you guys could help me that would be really helpful

gm performance make a manifold for it from factory.

any ls header will fit, exhaust ports are the same

also im new to the whole carburetor thing because im use to Fuel injection with my car and i dont know where to start so all the info you guys give me will be really helpful

Aren't those blocks 1/2 taller on the deck height? I don't know how much difference that would really make for header clearance, but it is worth noting.

i have been looking around and i have decided to go with an edelbrock Intake Manifold and im also looking to buy this http://www.alsblowers.com/sc510.html could you tell me what all i need

I have never messed with the bird catchers, so I am not much help there, but that will a seriously over the top old school look.

that was kinda the point and im new to the whole muscle car classic car scene so i have no clue what i need or buy but i have transmissions but besides that im clueless here is my email if anyone could email me with everything i would need that would be awesome

do edelbrock make a lsx manifold?? the heads are ls7 style mid port.

this is the smaller gm manifold for lsx454, 4150 pattern


this is the bigger gm manifold for the lsx454r

not that i know of but if you could give me a link to the intake and how much it would cost that would be great i have a shop up here that is already willing to take on the job

I would seriously look into a shop that specializes in LS1 swaps and such. That's a hell of a responsibility ($$$$$$) your laying on someone's doorstep. Not something I would just drop off at any little shop.

Where are you located? Maybe someone can recommend a good shop. All of the installation is going to be custom.

Isn't that engine dry sump?

i live in portland oregon and trust me i have a reputable shop here that has already told me that they will do it

other option is the mast ls7 manifold, but $$$, awesome kit

engines will come with no sump, can configure as wet or dry sump according to your needs

well when i am done with them their gonna be pushing between 900 and 1100HP maybe even more
