Default Electronic speedo question

Where do I pick up the signal for the electronic speedometer? I'm using a 4L80E and the TCI/Fast 301002 controller. Got it used and don't have the instructions but what I did find online did not mention an output for a electronic speedo.

If you are talking about the FAST EZ TCU trams controller, good luck. I could not get mine to work with the electric speedo on my TA or my 94 GMC.

Get a GPS module. Several companies make them. Autometer included. Dont have to worry about tire size or gearing. Easy install.

$160 is a ton of money. You can getem for $100. But thats out of most peoples range. I have a android speedo as well but sucks compared to an actual working gauge.

I saw those gps units and was really not trying to go that route, don't wannt spend $300 just to see how many miles over the speed limit I'm going. Was hoping there was a simple way of o just hook up a gauge

I'll agree, it's not perfect, but the app is free and it gives me a round about idea of what I'm doing.

So what you guys are saying is the only way to get a aftermarket speedometer to work with a 4l60/80 on a Carbed swap is to use a gps sender ? The injection guys just use the PCM right ?
